On Nov 20, 2019, Google announced the addition of new filters in Google Search Console that help merchants to see how well their products are performing in products rich results search. According to this Google search console performance report, the merchants will be given stats of product rich results.
People visit Google for surfing, researching, and gaining knowledge on products and brands to decide whether they should purchase the item or not.
Product rich results are information carriers of specific products that help users in making their decision about a purchase.
So, now Google shows rich data of products such as products price, description, and availability within the result itself and it’s one of the SEO Factor. Based on your product rich results mark-up, Google provides you with the key metrics of clicks and impressions data to assist webmasters in optimizing their product pages for Google search. These metrics can be viewed by segregating into geography, device, and queries too.
